Terms of Use
Last updated 24 August 2026. By downloading or using TabSet you agree to these terms.
TabSet is published by dotOrange (Roel van Roozendaal), the Netherlands, referred to below as "the developer". TabSet is distributed through Apple's App Store, so Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions also apply to your purchase and take precedence where they conflict with anything here.
Your licence
You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use TabSet on devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store terms and Apple's Family Sharing rules. You may not resell it, redistribute it, or attempt to reverse engineer it beyond what the law allows you to do regardless of this agreement.
Trial and purchase
- TabSet is free to use for 14 days, with no feature held back and nothing to cancel.
- After that it requires a one-time purchase of 9.99 in your local currency. The exact amount is set by the App Store for your region and may change over time.
- There is no subscription and no recurring charge of any kind. One purchase unlocks the whole app on iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch.
- The purchase is tied to your Apple Account, not to a device, and can be restored with Restore Purchase in Settings.
If the trial expires and you do not buy, the app stops working but your data stays on the device. Buying later restores access to it.
Refunds
Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple, not by the developer. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. The developer cannot issue, approve or reverse a refund.
Your data is your responsibility
TabSet has no accounts and no servers. Everything you record lives on your device, which means the developer holds no copy and cannot recover anything for you.
Deleting the app deletes its data. Losing, wiping or replacing your device without a backup loses its data. Keep your own backups: export your presets with Export All and your training log as CSV or a JSON backup, and keep your device backups switched on. See the Support page for the steps.
Not medical or fitness advice
TabSet is a logging tool. It records what you tell it, times your rest, and reports what your Apple Watch measures. It does not give medical, health, training or nutritional advice, and it does not judge whether an exercise, a weight or an intensity is safe or appropriate for you.
Strength training carries risk of injury. You are responsible for your own programming, technique and limits, and for deciding when to stop. Consult a qualified professional before starting or changing a training programme, particularly if you have a medical condition, are pregnant, are recovering from injury, or are taking medication.
Heart rate, calorie and zone figures come from Apple Watch sensors and are estimates. They are not medical measurements and must not be used to diagnose or monitor any condition. If you feel unwell while training, stop and seek medical help. Do not rely on an app for that judgement.
Availability and changes
TabSet is provided as it is today. The developer may change, add or remove features, and may end support for older iOS or watchOS versions, so a future update may require a newer system. Nothing here promises that the app, a particular feature, or compatibility with a given device will remain available indefinitely.
These terms may be updated. The current version is always the one on this page, with its date at the top. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.
Warranty and liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, TabSet is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
To the fullest extent the law allows, the developer is not liable for lost or corrupted training data, for injury or harm arising from your training, or for indirect or consequential loss. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you actually paid for the app.
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived under the law of your country, including mandatory statutory consumer rights in the EU, the UK and elsewhere. If a clause here is unenforceable, the rest still stands.
Apple
Apple is not a party to these terms and has no responsibility for TabSet. Apple is not obliged to provide support for it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
Apple, Apple Watch, iPhone, watchOS, iOS, Apple Health and Fitness are trademarks of Apple Inc. TabSet is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Apple Inc.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Netherlands, without affecting any mandatory consumer protection you are entitled to where you live.
